The Princess Vlei belongs to everyone – and needs everyone to help re-imagine and transform the space. We stood together to save it from destructive development. Now let’s work together to create a space where all can celebrate our heritage and enjoy nature. No matter how little time you have, there is always something you can do to.

Stand for our management committee, or nominate others
Come to our events and meetings, litter clean-ups, plantings, workshops and AGMS
Help with learner events

Occupy the vlei and own the space.

Use the Vlei for community events, to teach your kids about nature, walk your dogs, family reunions, to get exercise, to relax….

Donate

We need funds to help us to transform the vlei, to hold workshops, for cultural, educational and community events, media and publicity. Any small donation is welcome.
